Lanhydrock celebrate Gold
Lanhydrock celebrate Gold at the Cornwall Tourism Awards.
After six months of judging and 125 business visits, the winners of this year’s Cornwall Tourism Awards have been announced. Now in their fifteenth year, there were 195 entries in 25 different categories, with a new one this year for Glamping. The awards celebration was enhanced by an entertaining presentation from lyricist and cricket enthusiast Sir Tim Rice who shared anecdotes from his collaborations with Andrew Lloyd Webber and Elton John.
Lanhydrock won gold in the ‘Large attraction of the year category.
General Manager Rebecca Brookes-Sullivan was pleased by the result: ‘We are delighted to have won gold in the best large attraction category; especially as the other short-listed attractions were such stiff competition. The award is a credit to the staff and volunteers at Lanhydrock who work so hard to make the experience for our visitors so special’.
