Bringing a dog
We welcome assistance dogs only as part of pre booked tours. However all dogs are welcome on the wider site. There are lots of mining remains in the landscape including mine shafts, it’s always a good idea to keep your dog on a lead in this area.
Accessible parking is available at the Levant car park. Please call the office in advance to arrange this.
There is limited access to wheelchair users due to rough surfaces, slopes and stairs.
There is a British Sign Language Tour of Levant available on a tablet and a large print guide of the site, please ask one of the team.
Levant Mine and Beam Engine is an industrial site. There is uneven terrain, steep slopes and mining remains.
The tour lasts for approximately one and a half hours in the ticketed area. This includes access to the Man Engine Tunnel where there is a curved staircase underground, with no hand-rail, and uneven floor surface.
