The exterior of Coleton Fishacre house

Visiting Coleton Fishacre with a group

The country home of the D’Oyly Cartes was built in the Arts & Crafts style and is filled with 1920s elegance. A light, joyful atmosphere fills the rooms and music plays, echoing the family’s Gilbert and Sullivan connections. You can lose yourself in the RHS accredited garden: viewpoints give enticing glimpses out to sea, paths weave past tranquil ponds, and exotic plants thrive in the sheltered valley.

The front of Compton Castle

Greenway house on the banks of the River Dart

Bringing groups to Greenway

A visit to Greenway offers a glimpse into the holiday home of Agatha Christie and her family. The family were great collectors, and the house is filled with archaeology, Tunbridgeware, silver, botanical china and books, and the garden is nestled in a woodland garden on the banks of the River Dart. You can travel to Greenway by midi-coach, ferry or steam train.
