October half-term and Halloween in Norfolk

We've got pumpkin patches, scary spiders and creaking staircases, just some of the ingredients you'll need for a spooky Halloween adventure. Here are some of our places in Norfolk, you might like to visit with the family this October half-term.

Enjoy apple picking in Blickling's orchard.

Blickling, Norfolk

Blickling will be welcoming the autumnal season with open arms, hosting an abundance of seasonal events. From apple picking to autumn trails, come and discover the gardens and park in all their seasonal glory. Why not hire a bike and explore on two wheels?

Children enjoying Halloween with face-painting

Elizabethan House Museum, Norfolk

Discover a time of witches. Where the simplest suspicion could turn into a witch hunt, hear tales of real life toil as well as those that could come straight from a fairy tale. Create your own familiar fiend just in time for Hallows eve at the Elizabethan House Museum.

Children looking at the insects found on a bug hunt.

Felbrigg Hall, Norfolk

With Halloween approaching, we'll be looking for some of the creepy crawlies that call Felbrigg home. Join us for our bug trail around the hall or enjoy family crafts, activities and talks, all with a bug theme this October.

Pumpkin Pastimes

Oxburgh Hall, Norfolk

Join us on a hunt to find the pumpkins that are hiding on Oxburgh estate. Whilst you're here, why not take the family for a woodland walk? Along the way you'll be able to challenge each other to pooh sticks in the River Gadder or go den building in Home Covert.

Conker crafts

Sheringham Park, Norfolk

As well as Sheringham Park's 50 things activities, which run throughout October halt-term, join us as we go on bat walks, a spider safari and enjoy a wild afternoon tea, or take part in our daily trail.
