Food from Llanerchaeron tastes different because it's been grown with conservation in mind. Our walled gardens are still being used to grow seasonal fruit, vegetables and cut flowers and our slow grown, grass reared animals produce meat that is prepared locally using skilled local butchers.
Fresh produce from our walled garden
We grow our seasonal vegetables, fruit and cut flowers in the protective environment of our walled gardens. They're tended by our dedicated team of staff and volunteers who pick them daily.
We also sell a variety of perennial plants and herbs propagated on the estate as well as seasonal planters and decorations made with materials gathered from the estate and gardens.
There’s something growing in our garden all year round so just call in and see what we’ve got in store for you.
Our farm produce
Our Welsh Black cattle, rare Welsh pigs and Llanwennog sheep are all managed to the highest welfare standards and are certified by the RSPCA’s freedom foods.
They graze on species-rich grassland on the Llanerchaeron estate, which supports a wide range of plants, birds and animal communities. While we look after the farm animals, they help us care for these rare and important habitats.
Where to buy
Our produce is sold in our shop and our offer varies from day to day. No two days are the same and that’s the exciting part of shopping at Llanerchaeron. So why not visit us to see what’s freshly picked that morning and take home some delicious home grown produce for your dinner?
