Summer holiday adventures at Llanerchaeron
Llanerchaeron is one of the best natural places for kids to have an adventure this summer, whatever the Welsh weather has in store for us...
You can be sure to have a different experience every day at Llanerchaeron this summer with a different activity on every day. There will be self led trails through the House and garden each week, try your hand at butter making in the service courtyard every Tuesday, and we will also be bringing back 50 things Fridays – grab a booklet from reception and join our rangers to get started on your adventure!
Here are some great ways to keep the kids and parents entertained this summer...
Meg’s Mondays – Every Monday throughout the holidays
Join our gardener, Meg, who will be putting on a different activity every Monday during the summer holidays.
50 Things Fridays – Every Friday throughout the holidays
Climb a tree, build a den, hunt for bugs, cook on a campfire, roll down a really big hill…
With help from kids all over the country, we’ve put together a list of great challenges for you; the ultimate 50 things to do before you’re 113/4 , and we’re making it as easy as mud pie for you to do them. Either pick up a scrapbook from reception to start your own adventure, or join our ranger every Friday 1pm – 3pm for a different activity.
Ceredigion Craft Makers – Wednesday 31st July – Tuesday 6th Aug
Come and meet the Ceredigion craft makers – a talented group of artists, designer makers and craftspeople who work in Ceredigion. From Blacksmiths to Glass making to photography you’re sure to find an extra special gift for your loved ones this summer.
Every trip to a National Trust place helps us to look after the special places in our care, so your adventures will ensure that places can be explored for generations to come.
