The Bookshop

Opening Times

Saturday and Sunday: 11am – 4pm

Run by our team of volunteers, the second-hand bookshop boasts a great selection of pre-loved books, kindly donated by you. Browse the well-stocked shelves and pick up the next book you can’t wait to curl up with. In previous years, money raised from the bookshop has enabled us to acquire items from Oxburgh’s original collection, as well as carry out vital conservation work. Now, we’re busy raising money for Oxburgh’s roof project.

We’re always on the lookout for new donations, so if you have any good quality fiction and non-fiction books that you’d like to donate, please drop them in when we’re open.

Plant Sales

Perhaps you’ll be inspired after a walk around the garden? Why not head to our plant sales area in the Kitchen Garden before you leave and take home a little piece of Oxburgh with you? All of the seeds and cuttings are harvested directly from the gardens and are available for a small donation, all of which supports our work in the outdoors. We have more plants on sale outside the shop.
