Free parking, 150 metres from the house. Entrance on Ladgate Lane

Dogs on short leads welcome in the garden, courtyards and wider estate. Assistance dogs only in the house and cafe

There are two electrical charge points in the overflow car park
- Toilet
Mobility parking spaces in visitor car park. Accessible toilet. Manual wheelchairs for hire. Ramped access into the ground floor of the mansion and cafe. Step access to first floor of the mansion. Partly accessible grounds as the pathways are loose gravel, bark and grass.

Accessible toilet is reached via ramp access into the courtyards.

There are mobility parking spaces in the visitor car park.

Seating in the garden and throughout the mansion on highlighted chairs.

Stepped access only to first floor of the house and second-hand bookshop. Also step access only to model railway layouts (closed for winter)
- Wheelchairs available
We have manual wheelchairs for hire, but we do not have mobility scooters for hire. Pre-booking recommended for manual wheelchairs on 01642 328904.

- From A19 take A174 to A172. From Guisborough, the hall is west of the A171, head towards Ormesby / Middlesbrough and please follow brown direction signs for cars, which brings you to Ladgate Lane.Parking: free, 150 metresSat Nav: use TS3 0SR for car parking

This classic Georgian mansion is surrounded by 240 acres of parkland and farmland, which offer year round seasonal walks with a colourful Victorian formal garden accompanying the mansion.
Uncover the family's stories from 'wicked' Sir James to Colonel Pennyman, survivor of the First World War, and the theatrical exploits of his wife Ruth. Then experience the life of a Victorian servant and explore the Laundry and Kitchen.
