Wander the gardens

Take a peaceful stroll around the gardens, and you’ll see that there’s lots still in bloom – here are some of our top highlights to see:

  • Hellebores, heathers and skimmia are all starting to burst to life in our Graham Stuart Thomas-designed winter garden
  • The beds by the entrance water tower also boast Helleborus niger ‘HGC Jospeh Lemper’, also known as Christmas rose, Cornus sanguinea ‘Midwinter Fire’, and Bergenia
  • Evergreen conifers provide all year round interest, and our pinetum on the edge of the south lawn is full of lush shades of green
