The Bothy holiday cottage at Powis

Our holiday cottage, the Bothy, nestled in the formal garden beneath Powis Castle and Garden, Powys, Wales.

This beautiful Edwardian cottage is positioned in the attractive Edwardian formal gardens, laid out beneath the castle and baroque terraces.

Built in 1908, The Bothy’s Edwardian, half-timbered style was chosen to reflect the rustic cottage garden theme that was popular at the time. With fantastic views over the garden it’s the perfect place to unwind and take in the stunning surroundings.
Large interior rooms with traditional features and an open fireplace make this the perfect place to relax. With the local market town of Welshpool only a leisurely stroll through the medieval deer park, this is the perfect base from which to explore the surrounding area.
