Easter at Quarry Bank

Visitors in the gardens at Quarry Bank

Join us for an Easter adventure in nature at Quarry Bank. Pre-booked ticket holders can purchase a family-friendly trail on the day with fun activities to do along the way. Complete the trail and earn your chocolate reward at the end.

We know how much joy our Easter egg trails bring to our visitors each year and we hope this year will be no different. However, we ask that you help us to stay open safely by booking your tickets in advance.

Easter adventures in nature

Friday 2 to Sunday 18 April (while stocks last), 10.30am – 4pm

Shake like a squirrel, reach like a rainbow and spot the signs of spring as you explore the gardens at Quarry Bank and complete activities at the 10 trail points. Take as long as you need, have fun and take it all in! What will you discover along the trail?

Each trail pack includes an activity sheet, pencil and your tasty chocolate egg or allergen free reward. Each trail pack costs £3 plus general admission to Quarry Bank.

Before visiting, please check local and national government guidance on travelling.

Book your visit

You don’t need to book your Easter trails in advance, but you will need to book your visit. To manage visitor numbers so that social distancing can be ensured for the safety of our staff, volunteers and visitors, the pre-booking system still applies. Booking will provide access to the property, not the Easter adventures in nature trail, which can be purchased on the day.

Tickets are released every Friday, so you won't be able to book your Easter visit until Friday 26 March.

Please book ahead before visiting

The car park, estate and garden at Quarry Bank are open daily. Numbers are limited to aid social distancing so to avoid disappointment please book in advance, especially at busier times such as weekends, school holidays and bank holidays.

About Quarry Bank

Situated just south of Manchester, discover a hidden valley filled with wildlife, beauty and nature. Quarry Bank is one of Britain's greatest industrial heritage sites, once home to a community of cotton mill owners, mill workers and child apprentices. Explore the family homes of owner and worker, take stroll through the riverside valley gardens, go on a nature adventure in the woodland estate and step inside the mill to hear the clatter and roar of the machinery as the floors shake beneath your feet.
