Autumn Family Fun at Quarry Bank

Family on the mill meadow

Join us at Quarry Bank this autumn for lots of family fun. Pick up a trail from the welcome building and search for the pumpkins in the mill. There are also autumn facts to find in the outdoors as you explore the site. And in half term, you can listen to campfire stories at the Apprentice House and dive into apple day activities.

When you arrive, you can pick up a pumpkin trail from the welcome building for £1.50. Find the hidden pumpkins in the mill and unscramble the autumn anagram. Then follow the outdoor map to discover carved pumpkins and fun facts around the site.

For half term, we'll also be telling campfire stories all week. Come to the Apprentice House garden to hear tales of apprentices past. Stories will run at intervals from 11am - 2.30pm every day.

On Saturday 30 October, the Kindling Trust will be running an Apple Day event in the Upper Garden. Find out about different apple varieties, sample fresh apple juice and take away your own heritage apple tree sapling (subject to availability).
