Visiting Quarry Bank: what you need to know

The gardens, estate, mill, Apprentice House, mill owner's house, restaurant, café and shop are open. Tickets for Apprentice House tours are popular and issued on a first come first served basis, so please arrive early to avoid missing out. Planning your visit


Entry is free for National Trust members, but please bring your membership card with you. Non-members will need to pay on arrival. Parking is free for all visitors to Quarry Bank.

We are open Wednesday to Sunday for the majority of the winter, with exceptions over Christmas. Opening times of different elements of the site vary day to day - please check opening times tab for details.

 

Staying safe

If you’re showing any of the symptoms of coronavirus, or if you've been in contact with anyone that has the virus in the last 14 days, please don’t visit.

 

Accessibility

Blue badge parking available.

Toilets: accessible toilet open in the Mill Yard and Upper Garden.

Please note that the Mill lift is currently not in full operation. If you require an accessible visit, please contact us in advance on 01625 527468.

Shuttle buggy: Shuttle buggy service offering transfers to various parts of the site, including Visitor Reception and the Mill Yard, is available. Please speak to Visitor Reception on arrival. The buggy can carry foldable wheelchairs.

Carers and essential companions accompanying disabled visitors can visit free of charge.
