Volunteering at Quarry Bank

Quarry Bank Volunteer Rangers working in Styal Village

Whether you'd prefer to be felling trees, planting bulbs, helping children to learn or transcribing letters, there's something for everyone, and there are even more exciting opportunities to come.

We have over 370 volunteers working in many different roles. As part of the project we are looking to create 21 new roles for people to get involved in as well as looking at new ways to volunteer including remote volunteering and drop-in volunteering.

With the opening of Quarry Bank House, a Worker’s Cottage and restoring the Northern Woods, there will be even more opportunities to get involved.

Volunteering at Quarry Bank is a truly rewarding experience where you can indulge your interest in history and heritage and help to make visitors’ experiences even more exciting.

We will also be looking to support our existing volunteers to get the best out of their experience and to better utilise their skills. If you want to help to have fun, make friends, and bring this special place to life why not think about volunteering.
