The Coach House at Quebec House, a National Trust property in Kent

The coach house is the location of new and improved second-hand bookshop. Built in the eighteenth century, this two storey building was originally the coaching house that served Quebec House.

We have recently renovated and restocked our second-hand bookshop here at Quebec House to be bigger and better than ever, making it the perfect place to pop in for a browse and pick up a bargain.

The bookshop is open between 11am to 4pm, Wednesday to Sunday.

The proceeds from the sale of secondhand books fund vital conservation projects across the estate.

Please be mindful of social distancing inside the space and volunteers are onhand to support.

Upstairs you can now find our exhibition space. The exhibition, Paths of Glory, brings to life the Quebec campaign and is an unmissable feature taking you on a journey through the life of James Wolfe. It goes on to explain the importance of the battle of Quebec and why the man is so upheld.
