Easter fun at Saltram

Spring is in the air and the gardens are waking up, the days are drawing out and the Easter holidays are upon us which means it's time to get out and about.

Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt

Saturday 6 – Monday 22 April, 10am to 4pm.
£2 per hunt.

Normal admission prices into the house and garden apply. There is no admission charge for Under 5s and National Trust members.

Saltram was once a home to the Parker family and is now a home to lots of wild animals. We challenge you to spot their footprints in the garden, using the map to help you.

Did you know that every penny you spend over Easter will go straight back into keeping Saltram special?

More eggs!

Visit the house whilst you are here and spot the eggs hidden in our tresure rooms. Can you find them? Some are high up and others are low down so keep your wits about you!

Mr Storyfella will be joining us on both Wednesdays in the Easter holidays telling stories in the Orangery from 1-4pm.

The house has fully opened its shutters for the year and invites you to discover the Parker home. Have a good nose around and even have fun dressing up like a georgian.

With the days getting longer it’s getting easier to get outdoors and let off some steam. Saltram’s garden is the perfect place for family strolls, ticking off some of your 50 things and of course a good old picnic on the lawn.

*The useful bits

We are expecting to be very busy over the Easter weekend but don't worry, we have put all we can in  place to make sure that you won't have to wait too long for your hunt sheets. The trails lasts the full two weeks of school holidays, so there's plenty of chances to follow our trail outside of Easter weekend.

When parking, please follow the signs and instructions from our team.

The Park cafe serves hot drinks, cakes, ice creams and hot and cold lunches as well however it can get very busy. If you have young ones that may struggle with waiting times, we recommend bringing a picnic and a blanket. You are welcome to dine al fresco in any part of the park or gardens.

Please pay for your Cadbury Easter egg hunts with cash or card at the Welcome Centre when you buy your entry tickets or get your membership card scanned.

The Cadbury Egg Hunt is along a wheelchair user and pram-friendly route.

We will have a limited number of non-chocolate prizes available for children who can't eat chocolate.

If you finish the trail after 4pm, you can still collect your prize from the Welcome Centre on your way home.
