Eating and drinking at Sandham Memorial Chapel
Whilst we don't have a tea room, there are still plenty of opportunities for refreshment as part of your visit to Sandham Memorial Chapel.
Our historic orchard and garden of reflection each offer the perfect place for a picnic. Why not sit in the shade of our oak tree as you enjoy your picnic with an idyllic view of the chapel and our historic orchard. Many of the apple trees are over 90 years old and during the summer months, they are surrounded by a beautiful wildflower meadow.
Alternatively, you could enjoy the sunshine from one of the tables or benches in our tranquil garden of remembrance - an idyllic place to enjoy your picnic as you contemplate the chapel and its paintings.
Our local pub, The Carpenters Arms (not National Trust) is just over the road from the chapel and is open all day, serving a wide selection of teas, coffees and lunches.
If you're visit to Sandham is part of a day out, why not combine it with a trip to The Vyne where the Brewhouse serves a wide range of food and drinks; from delicious cakes and scones to soup and hot meals.
