Christmas at Sandham Memorial Chapel
Sandham remains open until just before Christmas, so why not come along to meet up with friends, do some Christmas shopping or join one of our Christmas events?
In addition to a wide range of books about the life and work of Stanley Spencer, our small shop stocks an exciting selection of christmas decorations, gifts, jewellery and ceramics handmade by local artists.
Service with local handbell ringing
Wednesday 12 December 11am - 12pm
Join us for our Christmas Service with festive tunes and carols by our local handbell ringers. We are a working chapel having been dedicated on March 25th 1927 by the Bishop of Guildford. There have always been services on Remembrance or Armistice Day and ad hoc ones to mark other special events. This Christmas service will be extra special with festive tunes and carols rung by the village handbell ringers. There is no need to book, but as the chapel is quite small space is limited.
Free. Donations welcome.
