Autumn adventures for families at Sheffield Park

A family sit and admire the autumn colour

This autumn, spend the day outdoors at Sheffield Park taking in the changing season and the stunning reds, oranges, greens and purples of the autumn colours.

Enjoy a stroll round the beautiful gardens or a charge down to Ringwood Toll, our natural play area, for a spot of den building or an adventure on our new Orienteering Trail, in partnership with the National Lottery Heritage Fund and British Orienteering. When hunger calls, head to the Coach House café or pick-up a snack from The Shant, our garden takeaway spot tucked away near the lakes.

Time to explore

Our new orienteering trail, in partnership with the National Lottery Heritage Fund and British Orienteering, is now installed on the parkland. Starting from the 'Green Man' gate at Ringwood Toll, the two routes take you either around Ringwood Toll itself or down to the river and bridges. Will you manage to find all ten markers?
