Join us for an evening of relaxed Christmas shopping

This Christmas, why not get ahead of the game and come along to our Christmas shopping evening to pick up a few gifts and some tasty food and drink for your festive celebrations. Our reception shop will be staying open until 7pm on Saturday 1 December so you can browse at your leisure and pick up a few gifts.

Gifts for all the family

Whether you're looking for traditional games for all the family to enjoy, books and explorer sets for children, jewellery, leather gloves, scarfs, outdoor gear, gardening sets and plants, there's plenty to choose from. We also have a great selection of homeware items from candles and vases to handmade soaps and poole pottery for everyone.

Food and drink

Whether you're looking for a gift for someone or some tasty treats for your Christmas table, look no further than the National Trust range of produce. From Christmas puddings to mince pies, jams, chutneys, marzipan fruits, chocolates and biscuits, there's plenty to tempt you. We also stock a range of items from local suppliers, such as oat & butter sussex biscuits (delicious with stilton) from Horsham Gingerbread Bakehouse, Biddenden apple juice and the unusual flavour combinations of Goupie chocolates, made in Goudhurst.

Try some local wine from the Plumpton Estate wines

We're pleased to welcome Plumpton Estate to our evening who will be on hand to offer samples of their locally-produced wine. As the UK’s centre of excellence in wine training, education and research, Plumpton Estate wines are produced by their students on the wine production courses, working alongside a team of vineyard and winemaking experts. All the fruit that goes into the wine production is hand-harvested from their two estate-managed vineyards in Ditchling and Scaynes Hill.

The wines have won many awards over the years. Most recently, the sparkling Brut Rosé was awarded a Gold Medal in the prestigious Champagne and Sparkling Wine World Championships 2018. Make sure you stop by their stand to see their full selection and have a taste.

Gift wrapping service

We'll also have members of our team on hand to personally gift wrap your purchases on the night. We have a roll of recyclable, craft gift wrap so let us do the hard work for you. If you'd like to leave a small donation in return, we would be very grateful.
