Eating at Sheringham Park
Enjoy a range of tempting seasonal treats from our courtyard café. Whether you’re starting the day with a coffee and bacon roll, staying for lunch after a walk through the estate, or if you're looking for a refreshing ice lolly – a trip to the café is surely an essential part of any National Trust visit.
About our courtyard café
You will always find a friendly welcome at our courtyard café. Choose from a range of sandwiches, bacon rolls, soup, crisps and cakes. We also have a wide selection of hot and cold drinks available, including our 100% Fairtrade coffee.
Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options are available – we’d love to help you with your choice by telling you about our ingredients. Please speak to a member of our team when you visit.
If you need something cool and refreshing after a walk around the estate, why not treat yourself to an ice lolly? We now stock Magnum Vegan Classic ice creams, delicious and velvety plant based ice cream without the dairy ingredients.

Eating as a family
We offer children’s lunch boxes, which consist of a sandwich, Pom Bears, a carton of juice and a choice of either a yoghurt, a piece of fruit or raisins.
Bottles and baby food can be warmed up by our friendly staff and high chairs are available.
The courtyard café is on a level flat surface with a wide doorway. All seating is outdoors, with some tables that can accommodate wheelchair users and have space for them to turn around. Our catering staff will be happy to help with service and carrying trays.
For more information, please take a look at our access statement.
Bone appétit – four legged friends are catered for too!
Doggy drinking bowls and hitching posts are provided around the courtyard café and visitor centre. We are happy for you to bring you dog on a lead into the shop, where they can choose themselves a tasty treat. They can also join you as you choose a drink or bite to eat for yourself in the café.
Bringing a picnic
Sheringham Park was the East Anglian regional winner of the 2018 best picnic places award, thanks to our 1000 acres of beautiful parkland and abundance of wildlife. You’ll find picnic benches in an area close to the car-park, or you can take your pick of stunning locations throughout the grounds.
Why not pop into the courtyard café to top up what you’ve brought with you? Our shop also has a selection of gourmet locally baked cakes and pickles, as well as picnic blankets, plates, cups and cutlery to make your lunch all the more comfortable.
Doing our bit for the environment
At the National Trust our takeaway cups and lids are fully compostable, low carbon and completely free from plastic. We also sell reusable bamboo cups or please do bring your own.
