Parking and buggy transfer

We have designated disabled parking in the main car park located next to the visitor reception building. 

The manor and garden are a 500-yard hilly walk from reception, shop and café. There is a volunteer-driven buggy is available by request on every open day which stops at the manor, the café and visitor reception. Please note that the buggy stops running between 1.30-2pm each day. 

Two manual wheelchairs are available for loan from visitor reception - these can transported around the site on the buggy.

Steps and paths

The visitor reception, shop and café are all fully wheelchair accessible.

Three stone steps lead up to manor entrance door with no hand rail. The manor visitor route is over three floors with steps between.

There is one step to the ground floor of the Priest's House.

The garden is terraced with gravel paths, uneven steps and some steep slopes.
