Autumn at Snowshill
With each season comes a new wave of delights at Snowshill Manor and Garden with autumnal activities and events on offer too.
Autumn is a great time to come and discover everything Snowshill has to offer and is a popular pick for foodies, who enjoy our seasonal produce in the tea-room.
Did you know there are over 50 different types of apple at Snowshill? We're celebrating this humble fruit this autumn.
Every year, we harvest the apples from the orchard and these are available for you to buy in bags in return for a donation.
"They are so much tastier than the imported apples you get in the supermarket," said Marketing and Communications Officer Gosia Rumsey. "And by popping a pound in the pot for our produce you're helping us to look after the orchard throughout the year."
The tea-room is constantly innovating and coming up with delicious seasonal treats for you, this autumn's menu features dishes made with Snowshill's own apples - such as apple and parsnip soup and pork and apple sausages.
It is in the tea-room that you'll get some great views across the Vale of Evesham as the leaves change from a vibrant green to golden yellow, red and brown - a magical sight.
Half-term Hallowe'en trail
Snowshill Manor is no stranger to the odd ghost story (see video) and as such is the perfect place to enjoy a Hallowe'en trail - compete with stuffed bats and Samurai warriors.
The self-guided trail takes place throughout half-term, simply pick up a trail guide at visitor reception when you arrive.
