The long summer days of the holidays are the perfect time to visit Snowshill. Children will love exploring the magical garden.
Wolf’s Cove, Charles Wade's enchanting model village, will delight and intrigue everyone; you may even catch the model train in action.
Families can follow in Wade’s footsteps and become garden designers themselves as they delve into the Garden Explorer Notebooks and see the garden through the eyes of its creator. Garden Explorer Notebooks can be picked up for free at Visitor Reception.
New for summer 2019, we will be hosting children’s craft workshops. Create a little magic on a children’s wand making workshop on Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 August. For full details and to book, click here.
On some days you may find one of our Garden Stewards who will be happy to share the stories of Snowshill. During the holidays you might also chance upon our storyteller spinning a yarn or two in the Lower Byre or Orchard. These events may not run every day as they are available according to volunteer availability.
