Volunteering at Snowshill

Snowshill Manor volunteer talking to visitors

Discover the benefits of volunteering at Snowshill Manor and Garden this new year. Would you like to make new friends? Need a fresh challenge in your life? Or want to develop your interests?

Snowshill Manor will be hosting two drop in mornings for new volunteers on Monday 22 and Saturday 27 January between 10am and 12pm. Discover what being a National Trust volunteer is all about and have an informal chat with staff and volunteers.

There are a variety of volunteer roles available from greeting visitors with a warm welcome at Visitor Reception, to learning about the collection and telling our stories in the manor, or supporting the team in the shop.

If you’re interested, don’t worry about what role you may or may not be able to do. All you need is a friendly smile and a desire to want to help our visitors enjoy their day. Once we understand what your interests and skills are, and how much time you have to offer, we can find a role to suit you.

There’s no need to book in advance. Simply drop in any time between 10am and 12pm to find out more, meet the team and see how you can get involved. However, if you want to let the team know you are coming, find out more about what’s happening on the day or have any questions that you would like to ask, please  email snowshillmanor@nationaltrust.org.uk or call Sarah Kerby on 01386 842814.

If the weather looks very wintery please check the website before travelling for up to date information.
