Night Run at Speke Hall
Join us for our Night Run on 23 February 2019, in partnership with Cotswold Outdoor. This event is about having fun at your own pace, meeting new people, exploring Speke Hall after dark and raising funds for our ongoing conservation work. If you've ever wanted to run around the gardens of a Tudor manor house at night, or explore ancient woodlands after dark, then Night Run at Speke Hall gives you the chance!
Taking part in our Night Run is a great way to get a little fitter during the winter months at the same time as helping us care for the wildlife you may see and the trails that you're running on. So as you look after you, you'll be looking after nature too. Choose from the 3km Explorer or the 7km Adventurer routes and have fun at your own pace on our traffic free trails but don't forget your head torch!
There are 3k (Explorer) and 7k (Adventurer) routes available so whether you're looking for a fun family run or a longer challenge, there's the perfect option for you. To book tickets, please click here. If you'd like to get a sense of what a Night Run is, press play below to watch a video of last year's event!
The routes are a mix of tarmac, woodland trail and grass. You’ll need a working head torch, suitable running kit for the weather conditions and suitable trail shoes or trainers for the terrain. Oh, and don't forget your glowsticks! We'll provide UV face painting and the pre-run warm up.
Every runner will get a free medal & a Night Run goody bag. We hope everyone will enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of this Night Run event and as such, there will be no timing or results available. You are welcome to bring your own timing device.
If you're bringing a non-runner with you then our restaurant will be open all evening for drinks, snacks and a warm place to wait.
Night Run events help us to support essential ongoing conservation work. Your entry fee will go towards Speke Hall so you can be sure your money is being spent on conserving our special places.
