Antony Bridge works predominantly as a plein air painter. That being to capture the sense of the place, its energy and colour all in one sitting in the open air.
Antony paints in all weathers enjoying the every changing light and seasons. He simplifies his painting equipment to a lightweight pochade box and uses a very limited palette of 3-5 colours.
He began his painting career from an early age, whilst studying at University Antony had local solo shows at the age of 20. He then was taken on by Malverns Cowleigh Gallery ran by the late Bill Nicholas which led to successful shows and yearly displays at the renowned Malvern Theatres.
He has won places at the RWA open shows and has shown in many successful galleries across the UK. Antony is honoured to have a worldwide following for his work, with collectors in NZ, South Africa, USA, Monaco to Sweden.
