Tintagel Old Post Office is taking part in the Festival of British Archaeology for the second year in a row.

Come and explore what the house and life within it would have been like when it was built in the Middle Ages over six centuries ago.

A series of reconstruction drawings will help you to travel back in time and understand how this medieval manor house began life and how it slowly evolved to become the Old Post Office.

Hands-on activities will help younger visitors learn about the history of the house and understand what it is that archaeologsts and historians do.

Part of the exhibit will focus on the restoration of the famous wavy roof in the early 1990s, highliting the need and importance of conservation in the modern-day.

NB certain activities will only be available weather permitting
