With its combination of winding wooded paths, secluded corners and wide open spaces, there are lots of places to picnic and play at Trengwainton Garden.

Please book ahead before visiting 

The garden at Trengwainton Garden is open and you’ll need to book your tickets by 3pm the day before your visit. Members can book for free, while non-members will need to pay when booking. We'll be releasing tickets every Friday. Please note we’ll be turning people away who arrive and haven't booked. We're looking forward to welcoming you back.


Picnic with a view at Trengwainton

If sea views are your thing, head to the Terrace where you’ll find a large, grassy expanse complete with summerhouses and seating. On a clear day you can see right across the 25 miles of Mount’s Bay to the Lizard Peninsula. 

It’s the perfect spot for younger legs to run off some energy or for older legs to take a rest and take in the scenery.

Take a walk up Trengwainton’s tree-lined drive and around half way there’s a colourful stream garden and a meadow that’s just right for picnics.


Family fun

While you’re at Trengwainton, there are lots of opportunities to tick off some of the '50 things to do before you’re 11¾.' For starters you can try bird watching, discover what’s in a pond, or get to know a tree.
