Autumn walks at Tyntesfield
Make the most of the autumn colour with walks across the Tyntesfield estate...
Guided estate walks
A guided walk with Tyntesfield's estate guides is a great way to find out more about the estate's unique history.
The walks start from outside the house and run almost every day - please ask our Ticket Office team when you arrive for more information on timings and availability.
On Sunday 15 October, Tyntesfield's volunteer tree registrar will be leading a guided walk around the estate's Champion trees. Booking for this walk is essential and you can find more information on our events page:
On Sunday 29 October and Sunday 12 November, you can hike into the Tyntesfield woodland to join a fungi foray and learn about the different varieties that are found on the estate, especially at this time of year.
You can find more information, and book your place, here:
We have a number of suggested routes for walking around the Tyntesfield estate. These routes cover a range of terrains and abilities and you can download or print them before you visit.

Finish with a warm up?
The Pavilion cafe at the bottom of the estate - with its selection of snacks, cakes and hot drinks - is the perfect place to warm up after an autumn walk through the grounds.
Just outside is the Orchard play area, great for our littlest visitors to use up any extra energy...
