Nailsea Running Club

Nailsea Running Club is a trail and road running club that emphasises social running over competition and has been running events at Tyntesfield since 2011 - including our fortnightly 'Feel Good Friday Run' and the club's annual 'Tyntesfield 10' 10k event.

In 2017, both events saw record numbers of attendants with over 400 runners taking part in 'Tyntesfield 10' and over 25 runners regularly attending the fortnightly 'Feel Good Friday Run'. The proceeds from 'Tyntesfield 10' is shared between Nailsea Running Club and Tyntesfield and this October the club's new chairman presented a £1,000 donation to the National Trust team.

" It's great to be able to support the conservation work that goes into caring for this beautiful place, the woodland and parkland of the wider estate are such great places to run whatever the weather and time of year."
- Alison Wright, Chairman of Nailsea Running Club

The donation will help fund our vital conservation work at Tyntesfield, and will also help train National Trust volunteers to be Leadership in Running Fitness (LIRF) certified run leaders, allowing the team to run more sporting activites at Tyntesfield.
