Tyntesfield mobility shuttles

We have two electric mobility shuttles operating during opening hours on a by request service. This service is run by a group of dedicated volunteers and aims to open up access to the site for our visitors who may otherwise find the layout and terrain of the site challenging to navigate. One shuttle is a standard 6-seater, whilst the other has an access ramp in order to provide transport for visitors with walking aides or wheelchairs (currently being repaired). For more information about the mobility shuttle service, please speak with a member of the team when you visit us.

We also have three mobility trampers available for hire which are individual electric motorised vehicles that can traverse all of the terrain on site, excluding the woodland. A member of our Welcome Team will be available to complete inductions on how to safely operate our trampers and get the most out of your visit with us. Also available from our Welcome Team, we can provide manual wheelchairs on request should you need them. To hire mobility trampers or wheelchairs, please email us at tyntesfield@nationaltrust.org.uk

Lastly, we have accessible toilets and baby change facilities across the site located at Home Farm visitor centre, the house, and in the Kitchen Gardens. These are marked on our visitor map and can be highlighted for you by a member of the team on your visit.

For more information on site accessibility, please see our access statement (found on the homepage under the access section of the facilities and access tab), contact us at tyntesfield@nationaltrust.org.uk or on 01275461900, or speak to one of the team on the day when you visit us and we will be happy to help.
