Visiting Tyntesfield from your home

Crocus growing in spring

While Tyntesfield may have temporarily closed its doors, there's no reason why you can't still enjoy some of your favourite sights and stories of the estate.

We'll be adding stories, activites and other Tyntesfield related content to this page regularly, so even if you can't visit this spring, you'll be able to learn a little bit more about this special place.

Alhambra inspired colouring

William Gibbs traveled extensively in the Hispanic world, and brought back many souvenirs. We've created some colouring sheets inspired by tile designs in the Alhambra Palace, illustrated in a book in Tyntesfield's library. Print at home and colour in - we'd love to see your designs on our social media accounts.

Pauline, one of Tyntesfield's volunteers regularly creates cartoons about the mischief that the estate's sheep get up to. Here, they're enjoying a bit of Bristol Balloon Fiesta themed fun, ready for you to colour in.

The secret world of treetops

Jo realises that tree climbing is not just for kids and discovers that we're all more connected to trees than we might think.
