Summer art & craft workshops
As part of our big Summer of Play, come and get creative with some seaside-themed art & crafts during the holidays.

Every Wednesday during Summer of Play, you can have a go at some craft activities on East Lawn. Come and find us under the tipis - you can drop by at any time between 11am and 3pm.
Wednesday 23 July – Decorate a shell
Wednesday 30 July – Puppet making
Wednesday 6 August – Paper windmills
Wednesday 13 August – Sand sculpture workshops (£6 per child, see 'Upcoming Events' page to book)
Wednesday 20 August – Sand art
Wednesday 27 August – Pirate hat making
All of the Wednesday workshops (except for 13 August which is led externally) are free to take part in. No booking required and normal admission to Anglesey Abbey applies.

Under the tipis on East Lawn, where all of the Summer of Play activities are taking place. East Lawn is just a few minutes' walk from the visitor centre.
- What to bring and wear
Bring some clothes you don't mind your children potentially getting a bit messy as they have a go at the arts and crafts available.
- Accessibility
East Lawn is a grassy area. You can access the tipis either directly via the lawn or via the hard-standing path along the Winter Walk followed by a little stretch of grass to get to the tipis.
