Pond Dipping

Discover the hidden world beneath the water’s surface with pond dipping at Hatfield Forest.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

Perfect for young explorers, this hands-on activity invites families to uncover the fascinating creatures living in the forest’s ponds. Equipped with nets and trays, you’ll get up close to a variety of pond life, from wriggling tadpoles and diving beetles to dragonfly nymphs and water boatmen.
