Playful summer nights
Pack a picnic, bring along your blankets, folding chairs, family and friends and enjoy a wonderful open-air production.
On Saturday 12 & Sunday 13 August, Folksy Theatre are delight to be performing their musical adaptation of Jonathan Emmett's "The Princess & The Pig".
There's been a dreadful mix-up in the royal nursery. Priscilla the princess has switched places with Pigmella, the farmer's new piglet! The kindly farmer and his wife believe it's the work of the good witch. The ill-tempered King and Queen squarely blame a bad witch. It's the sort of thing that happens all the time in fairy tales!
This performance is ideal for families with young children as the performance starts at 5:30pm and runs for one hour.
On Thursday 24 & Friday 25 August the south terrace provides the perfect stage for Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night". The production will be filled with Folksy's touch of live music, bold characters and audience interaction.
Two twin siblings, Viola and Sebastian, are separated in a shipwreck and Viola takes on the appearance of a man to be accepted to work in Duke Orsino's household. It is here that the fun begins. It is a play about mistaken identities, about love and the madness it can drive us to.
Ticket go on sale from 1 April and are priced at £13.50 Adult, £10 Concession, £8 Child and £38 for a Family. To book visit Folksy Theatre's Website
