Space exploration at Woolsthorpe

Be inspired by the genius of Isaac Newton during half term at Woolsthorpe Manor

Without Newton we wouldn't have the maths to travel into space and come back safely, so this February half term at Woolsthorpe we'll be exploring the starry skies in ways he could only dream of. Inspire your own young scientists with activities and experiments in our Science Discovery Centre from Wednesday 14 – Friday 16 February from 11am-3pm.

After dark, come and explore the skies above Newton's home on Thursday 15 February from 5.30-8.30pm. Astronomers with telescopes from local groups will be on hand to show you how to see what's out there, and will be only too delighted to help you with that 'scope you had for Christmas but haven't yet got out of the box...

There'll be a planetarium and talks about space, science and telescopes plus all the usual experiments in our own Science Discovery Centre. Booking is essential for this event.
