Winter at Woolsthorpe

The Hall at Woolsthorpe Manor decorated for a 17th-century Christmas

When the Manor House is closed for general visiting, you can still join one of our special volunteer-led tours of the Manor House.

Discover the hidden stories of Isaac Newton, his home and the times he lived in. Winter brings an austere atmosphere to the Manor which makes our small group tours quite different from a summer visit.

The tours run from Fridays through to Mondays from November to February. During December there will be Christmas tours to explore how Newton's family might have celebrated Christmas in rural Lincolnshire after the restoration of the monarchy.

Places are limited, so pre-booking is essential - email us or call 01476 862823 for tour times and to book your place.

Note: The Manor House will be open for general visiting on Monday 7 November, Sunday 4 and Monday 5 December - no tours will run on those days.
