Brompton Cookery School

Brompton Cookery School managed run by Marcus and Jenny Bean is located on the edge of the Attingham Estate, near Shrewsbury. The independently run cookery school is the perfect environment for cookery enthusiasts or novices to develop their culinary skills.

The cookery school offers a range of full day, half-day and bespoke cookery courses. Whether a beginner to more experienced cook wanting to take your culinary skills to the next level, our courses offer something for everyone and cater for all tastes – bread making, perfecting pastry, meat, vegetarian, fish lovers and cooking for dinner parties – whatever your ability. Children’s junior cookery is also offered, with courses available for 10 to 16 year olds scheduled in school holidays. For something a little different, demo and dine evenings are regularly held where a host of talented chefs with a wealth of cooking experience and expertise – including those from Michelin star and other high calibre establishments – will demonstrate a range of dishes which you’ll then enjoy for dinner in Brompton’s stylish dining room.
