Half term activities at Avebury

Child with flower pot

Children can join in the nature themed activities and tick off one of their '50 Things to do before you're 11¾'

You'll find lots to do at Avebury this half term, with activities in the Old Farmyard and the largest stone circle in the world to run around.

Children's activities

Capture your childs imagination and creativity with one of these nature themed activities

  • Tuesday 1 June: Grow a paper flower

  • Wednesday 2 June: Be a bee

  • Thursday 3 June: Tell a butterfly story

  • Friday 4 June: Build a sky cafe

With three 45-minute sessions a day you will have ample opportunity to complete your crafts with a family member from our craft tent. Alternatively, you can purchase your pack to take home.

The activity includes two crafts, one seed pack and a prize. The charge is £3 per pack but there is no additional charge for a craft tent session.

Please book at the barn on arrival. Places are on a first come first served basis with sessions at 11am, 12 noon and 1.30pm.
