Baddesley Bat Walks 2022

Bats are fascinating and secretive creatures. Flying at night they make high-pitched sounds and use the echoes to catch their prey.

There’ll be two opportunities for you to explore the grounds at dusk, just when the bats should be coming out.

A member of the Warwickshire Bat Group will be on hand to tell you about what bats you might see, and we’ll provide bat detecting equipment to help you spot some for yourselves!

The walk will be on gravel paths and some areas can be a bit uneven, so we advise you to wear appropriate footwear – and be prepared to wrap up warm if it’s likely to be chilly.

The event is suitable for children over 8 years old. You will need to book a place on these walks, so for all the details see the events feed.
