Family fun at Baddesley

Take a gentle stroll through the grounds

Baddesley is the perfect place for families to explore the outdoors, breathe in the fresh air and run wild on the estate. Join us for a fun packed day whatever the weather!

The magic of the moat, the stories of priest hunters and the freedom of the surrounding countryside means there’s something for everyone to enjoy at Baddesley.

Children can now have fun out in the estate on our new Natural Play Trail. There are animals to discover, puzzles to solve and plenty of fun to be had.

The bird screen at Baddesley, situated out in the parkland is the perfect place for families to spot a variety of bird life. Nestled within the woodland, make yourself comfortable on one of the benches and wait patiently to see what sights and sounds unfurl around you. The feeders are kept well stocked so there is always plenty to see and photograph. Bird spotting sheets are available from Visitor Reception.

What species of ducks can you spot?
Ducks on the grass

Baddesley Clinton is well known for its resident ducks. Winter is the best time of year to watch ducks, geese and swans for two very good reasons: the highest numbers of birds are present in winter months and drakes are in their brightest and best plumage of the year.

We have lots of exciting events for you and your family to take part in.  From Cadbury Easter Egg Hunts in the spring, family fun days during May half-term and spooky outdoor Hallowe’en trails in October - come along and join in the fun.
