October half term at Baddesley Clinton
Join the team at Baddesley this October half term for a whole week of fiendish fun and frights for the whole family to enjoy on our Halloween trail between Saturday 27 October and Sunday 4 November.
Little ghosts and ghouls will be able to explore the gardens and estate in search of clues on our pumpkin trail. Children can roam free on our outside trail, experience the changing colours of autumn and enjoy some spooky colouring in in the restaurant. So get your wellies ready and join us this October half term!
We also have plenty of ghost stories to share in the house. Ask our volunteers about a lady in grey who wanders the house at night, a ghostly portrait that appears on the wall and a dog who begs to an empty chair.
The Hallowe’en event takes place from Saturday 27 October to Sunday 4 November from 11am – 3.30pm. Each trail costs £2.50 and children will receive sweets, pumpkin seeds and a take home craft and activity sheet for the fun to continue at home.
Don't forget to take a stroll around the gardens while you're here and see all of the produce growing in our new vegetable garden. We've got pumpkins and gourds in lots of different colours, enormous courgettes and lots of beautiful flowers brightening up the borders.
Out on the estate children have the freedom to roam, be adventurous, and get messy and creative on our natural play trail inspired by the animals that live in the Warwickshire countryside. Follow the animal sculptures, made by local carver Graham Jones, over to the woodland for an animal adventure.
Pop over to the Barn Restaurant after your adventure for a delicious hot chocolate and a well-deserved piece of cake.
