What the raffle does for Baddesley

Produce for our restaurant

The contribution you make to us by buying raffle tickets helps us to carry out special projects to make the property even more beautiful and interesting.

Each year we take part in the National Trust’s “Special Places Raffle”. The money raised from this helps us to do things which otherwise might not be done.

In 2016 we were able to restore the vinery, which is now in operation and providing produce which is used in the Barn Restaurant.

The following year we used the raffle to help us to repair the stables clock, which hasn’t run for years. We are expecting work to start soon.

Last year's raffle proceeds were to construct Victorian-style cold frames near the vinery. This will complement the work we are doing on the new vegetable garden in that area and help us tell the story of Baddesley’s productive garden. Work will start on them soon.

Raffle tickets cost just £1.00 and can be bought from Visitor Reception. For every pound you spend, the Trust will give us another pound. Last year the Special Places Raffle raised over £719,000 nationally.

Please help to raise money for us to enhance Baddesley – and be in with a chance of winning the £10,000 top prize!

Thank you for your generosity, and for helping to preserve our special place – for ever, for everyone!
