Discover Berrington this Easter
We have a whole host of events for you this Easter. They're sure to add a little (and sometimes chocolatey) twist to your trip to visit us. With so much to see already, why not add a little of Berrington to your spring?
This Easter we want to get you and the family out and into the gardens. We have come up with some fresh ideas that we think will introduce you to our walled garden and make you look at it in an entirely new way. Why not step into the shoes of Berrington’s owner, Thomas Harley, and enjoy the gardens in true Georgian style.
Jack and the beanstalk trail
Saturday 13 April to Sunday 28 April, 10am to 4pm
We need your help. The mighty giant is taking over Berrington and we need you to stop him. Search around the grounds and complete the quest to save Berrington.
£2.50 per trail, includes a prize. Normal admission applies.
Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt
Friday 19 to Monday 22 April, 10am to 4pm
The Cadbury Bunny has hidden precious choccy eggs. Now it's up to you to find them! Take a map and follow the clues to find them; a delicious treat will be waiting for you at the end. Once again we have teamed up with Cadburys to offer you the chance to complete the Jack and the beanstalk trail with a Cadbury's chocolate egg at the end.
£2.50 per trail, includes chocolate prize.
Saturday 13 to Monday 15 April, 11am to 3pm
Bring your own Lego or use some of ours and see if you can beat 'Capability' Brown by designing and creating your own mini walled garden, eighteenth century pavilion, pineapple and mini Berrington.
£2 per child, Normal admission applies.
Events this Easter
Herons in the park tours are back, to give you the chance to see our resident herons at this SSSI. Join our rangers and learn all about how they thrive so well at Berrington. You could also join us once again for Lego Builders to see what you can discover.
Mansion, tea-room and the great outdoors this Easter
With so many walks stretching out into the parkland why not come for a stroll and see if you can uncover any natural pathways? We have so much to explore in parkland from a 14 acre lake, the woodlands, a den building area and the Natural Play Area.
Everyone needs a little break from exploring and our tea-room is open serving a seasonal menu to eat in or take out. Everything from; light, hot and cold lunches and freshly made cakes. To make this even more tempting, we use as much produce from the walled garden as possible in our recipes.
