Volunteer at Berrington Hall

We have a number of exciting projects going on so we really need your help. From bringing the mansion to life to taking part in our up and coming projects of 2018; getting involved can really be rewarding and fun.

You don’t need any qualifications or specific experience, you just need to be willing to get involved and enjoy a new challenge. Training is provided and you’ll have a buddy to help you find your feet. The time commitment is once a fortnight, or as little or as much as you can spare. You’ll be amazed at what you can do.

" I have joined the really welcoming team in the house"
- Juliet Hall, Mansion Guide

Our volunteers say

‘My wife and I moved house to Leominster with a smaller garden than we had before. So helping to tend the vegetable patch and gardens has been great. I grow a much wider variety of plants than I did before and digging really keeps me fit.’ Percy Manton, Garden Volunteer

Anyone can be involved in one of our many projects, outdoors or in

‘When the children finally flew the nest, days became too quiet. Now I volunteer for Berrington Hall. I’ve joined the really welcoming team in the house. I help one day a week sometimes, which is great to get me out and about.’ Juliet Hall, Mansion Guide

There are plenty of different roles you can do from customer facing room guides to back office supports. We will always welcome more help in every part of Berrington, especially with all that we have coming up in 2018. You never know which one of our projects will inspire you to get involved. What with a series of new installations around the mansion, anything might grab you.

Here are a couple of examples but contact us to find out more.
