Join the countryside team in West Cornwall
Looking to try something new? Or perhaps looking to give something back or meet new people and be part of a team? Take a look at the volunteer opportunities available in West Cornwall and get in touch.
Practical conservation volunteers
We are looking for volunteers who are enthusiastic about nature conservation and working outdoors. You could be part of a team working on a variety of different practical tasks from clearing scrub in winter, helping maintain footpaths, planting trees and getting our sites set up ready for pony grazing.
Mayon Lookout volunteers
Volunteering at the refurbished Mayon Lookout could have you recording and monitoring wildlife to engaging with visitors all whilst taking in the breathtaking views of Sennen Cove and the wild Atlantic sea. You don't need to be an expert just happy to talk to people, keen to work outdoors and willing to learn.
Wildlife survey volunteers
We are looking for wildlife enthusiasts in West Cornwall who are looking to volunteer their time to help carry out bird, butterfly or botany surveys at some of our countryside sites, to help measure the effects of habitat management.
Volunteer Dog Rangers
We are looking for local volunteers in West Cornwall to be ambassadors and can engage with other dog walkers to promote responsible dog ownership. This might be through making people aware where dog waste bins are, handing out dog waste bags and talking about managing dogs appropriately around livestock.
Ready to get involved...
