Treat yourself in the shop
The shop in Brimham House stocks a wide range of products, many of which are sourced from local suppliers. The ranges change throughout the year so it's always a good idea to pop your head around the door to see what's new.
Spring is here
With winter moving into spring and the days starting to get longer again we have exciting new seasonal ranges in stock. There's definitely a woolly theme spreading so far this year, all of which are from local suppliers, including Sarah Turner's beautiful Little Beau Sheep range of soaps, scented oils and felted goodies. There's also Feather Felts' joyful woolly animal crafting kits that are full of character and if you're feeling a little chilly there's Baa Ram Ewe's thick, woolly range of socks.
Working with and supporting local suppliers is very important to us at Brimham so stocking local produce is always a top priority. Popular ranges include beautifully glazed bowls with delightful motifs by Sheffield-based potter, Chris Boddy plus Richard Cantrell's Tom Thumb selection of wood turned creations using wood from our neighbours at Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal. For those special occasions we've a range of gift cards from local artist Claire Baxter. Finally, there's more edible local delights too including tasty biscuits from Lottie Shaw's and Grandma Wild's and pickles and preserves from Blueberry Hill and Puckett's Pickles.
Brimham is located in the heart of the Yorkshire countryside so for those that love to get outside we've a whole host of equipment on sale. For walkers we have local walk guidebooks, backpacks and maps. Plus for those visiting on colder days there's a selection of hats, gloves, blankets and thermal flasks.
Is there anything else?
Plenty, firstly let's not forget the children amongst us and there's lots in the shop to keep them entertained. We've a host of nature themed toys, activities and games for them. For the readers and writers amongst us there's a wide selection of books and stationary and if you're decorating at home there's a variety of kitchenware and ornaments to choose from. To finish we've a selection of gardening aides with a sprinkling of wildlife products for your garden visitors.
