Autumn family fun at Castle Drogo

Children enjoying an autumn walk with crispy leaves

Get lost in colours this autumn. Join us for an impressive seasonal display of colour in the garden. Walk the Hunter’s path above the Teign gorge to witness the spectacular changes from summer greens to reds, oranges and gold. For families visiting us this October, discover the troublesome ways of the Dartmoor pixies in the garden trail, but be careful they don't lead you astray.

Autumn colour

The trees are turning lovely colours of amber and orange; to admire the changing colours and crunchy leaves you could walk down to the river and back up to the castle.

The trees along the River Teign are lovely colours of amber and orange.
