Explore the estate, from Home Farm Cottage
Set within the Castle grounds, this traditional stone cottage is one of a semi-detached pair standing close to the old farm buildings, a few hundred metres from the Castle.
This delightful cottage forms an excellent base from which to explore the Estate, and other National Trust properties in the area – Powis Castle and Erddig – and a touring base for visits to nearby Llangollen, Oswesty and Welshpool, with spectacular moorland to the north and the beautiful Ceirog Valley starting at Chirk.
" We had a wonderful stay, cottage was very cosy, well located and was really home from home. Very tranquil, lovely being situated on the Chirk estate to go wondering around in the evenings. A really cosy base to return to at the end of the day."
